Love Calling

Softly and gently, rose peddles sway
Castin’ about sweet fragrant spray
Humming birds dash and dart
Honey suckles open, as peddles part
A busy bee munches nectar sweet
A fat little robin, a treat he does eat
A young puppy bounces and barks
While a sleepy old cat, his eye not part
Clouds gather looking rather black
Soon lightning flashes back
Rain drops splatter
While busy little ants scatter
Thunder booms with loud clatter
Say … What things in life truly matter
When black clouds come a storm to batter?
Hum … the birds, the bees
Or how about flowering trees
Nature is beauty, soon to pass
So are fortunes the thing to a mass?
Truly and surely this life will end
What then?
Jesus is calling your ear to catch
My love is pure no other can match
My blood I shed to wash your past
So come to Me, my love will last
Ask and receive eternal life from Me
In this life difficulty will be
But we will victory share
If you but ask for My care
The choice is yours and all must choose
For not one life My Father wants to lose
So choose His son, Jesus by name
And forever in heaven you will remain.
