What Is Christianity?

Christianity is all about being set free from all your mistakes and errors, being able to love God and then to love others as yourself.
This is the essence of Christianity.
            Christianity is about forgiveness not revenge.  Only forgiveness will stop the cycle of violence and sin.
            Christianity is simple, not complex and complicated.  Simply love as you are loved by God through Jesus, and forgive as you have been forgiven.

            We have recorded some helps to encourage and get you started.  It is imperative that you obtain a bible that is widely accepted as accurate by Christians.  Study the four gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John to get started.  As you read ask Jesus to reveal His truth to you.  Be patient and let Him show you.  Many well meaning people minister biblical truths, so it is critical you only believe what the bible simply teaches.

            Do not add on or take away from what the bible says.  Do not expect to understand it all at once.  You will find as you continue to read and re read Jesus will add to your understanding.  It is similar to building a house, one brick at a time.

            Remember becoming a Christian is to become a part of Gods kingdom through Jesus Christ His son.  It is a spiritual kingdom not an earthly kingdom.  Earthly kingdoms are of man and are dictated and run by men.  They reduce you to a number and a source of wealth for their kingdom.

            The kingdom of God is not about luck.  It is about free choice, desire and commitment.  You and only you can choose your eternal destiny.  Man can abuse and kill your body but he can not touch your spirit which is the eternal you.  Flesh dies but you live forever.

            Do not evaluate Jesus by People’s actions but by the truth that is written about him. All people make mistakes, that is why Jesus had to die to pay for sin.  By trusting in Jesus and putting your hope for the present and the future in His hands, will ensure your eternal location in his loving presence.  Remember only the truth sets people free from the bondage of man and evil.
