VICTORIOUS LIVING IN JESUS

The good news is that God working through Jesus, by the power of His Holy Spirit, does all the work for us, the be saved. Mans part is to have faith in Jesus and be obedient to his example, of how to live our lives. (Ephesians 2:1-22)

To start, we simply acknowledge we have sinned against God (Romans 7:24) and Romans 7:25 tells us that God rescues us through Jesus.
The moment we confess our sin and are sorry for it, then ask Jesus to come into our lives and lead us as we are saved. Roman 8:1 Therefore there are is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 3:21 But now a righteousness from God apart from law, has been made known to which the law and the prophets testify (22). The righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference (23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (24) and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (25) God presented him a sacrifice of atonement through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice because in His forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished. (26) He did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the on tho justifies those who have faith in Jesus.

God makes it easy for us to understand the heart of the gospel. Matthew 22:37-40 answers the question put to Jesus about what is most important. (37) Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.” (38) This is the first and greatest commandment. (39) and the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. (40) All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 tells us what love is.
God tells us in Ezekiel 26:24-26 he will do the work of salvation and enable us to live as he desires us to live.

(24) For I will talk you out of the nations; this includes the gentiles as well as those who turn to Jesus see John 7:37-38. I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back to your own land. (25) I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all impurities and from all your idols. (26) I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

There is more good news. Jesus is our justification (Romans 4:25) our righteousness (Romans 9:30) our holiness and redemption (1 Corinthians 1:30)

Mans efforts cause people to remain separated from God. In fact God tells us in 1 Corinthians 1:18 that the message of the cross is foolish to those who are perishing, but to us who (believe in Jesus) are being saved it is the power of God.

By simply believing in Jesus as the bible teaches and asking him to save you from your sin, starts a most wonderful life, ending in heaven. Now that’s good news!
